Networking Clusters

On August 20, Day 1 of the Foundry Annual User Meeting, we will try something new: Networking Breakout Clusters, from 12:35 ‑ 1:00 PM PDT. This is an opportunity for people to casually meet some other people who share their interests, in a small-group Zoom breakout room. We are hoping that it will be an engaging break in the Zoom day, and that it may help to foster some of those “hallway” connections that people make during in-person conferences.

    Sylvatex is a green nanochemistry high grow start-up company with a mission to eliminate transportation emissions. Our bio-based, nanoplatforms are engineered systems that manipulate chemicals, fabricate materials and structures, produce energy, and enhance our environment by providing lower cost and/or higher-performing solutions. Currently, we are looking for support that has Molecular Foundry training and have openings:
    – Research associate positions for the development of Li-ion battery cathode material
    – Chemist and research associate for biofuel research.
